Briggs has two multi-size options 8-10-12-14 and 14-16-18-20.

A neat, fitted style; The Briggs Blouse is a short-sleeved blouse with front and back darts, a shaped hem, optional back ties, a front button fly and a clerical collar or course. 
 
Our patterns are printed on a 50gsm high quality tracing paper. It is more robust than tissue but not as unyielding as copy shop paper. This paper will lie flat when ironed and is light enough to do a Full Bust Adustment or other pattern adjustments as necessary. 
 
The Briggs Blouse patten is colour printed with one colour per size, so the cutting and design lines are easy to follow when cutting out, marking or tracing. 
 
Full making instructions are included in a colour booklet with cutting information, clear diagrams and handy making tips and a full glossary of terms used. 
 
With darts, a clerical collar and set in sleeves, the Briggs is probably not for absolute beginner sewists. It’s not a particular involved make - there are only six pattern pieces, so advanced beginners ought to be fine, but may need a bit of mentoring. We are always available if you get stuck with our instructions-just email us with the stage you need help with and we’ll do our best to get you back on track. 
 
We strongly recommend making up a toile in a cheap fabric to test our sizing and fit. Our size chart is actual body measurements. As designers, we add the intended wearing and fitting ease (different for each style) to these body measurements. Briggs is a classic, fitted style designed for woven fabrics, so if you tend to wear your clothes looser, you may find you wish to size up.
